For other syllabuses such as Christian Religious Education, Additional Mathematics and Statistics, schools offered the General Certificate of Education (GCE) O Level examinations as in previous years. During this session candidates from five centres sat for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) French syllabus. BGCSE is a syllabus based examination. Each syllabus is graded on an 8 point scale from A* to G. Candidates who fail to reach the standard required for Grade G are unclassified and no result is reported on the certificate.
