Botswana Examinations Council (BEC) is committed to good corporate citizenship and to supporting charity and community initiatives which are relevant to its business and stakeholders. The Council recognises its responsibilities to these groups and supports a programme of investment in charity and community initiatives (e.g. programmes run by schools and other community groups that are not registered charities) to support them. The Botswana Examinations Council strives to be an asset to the community, supporting the social, cultural and economic developments in Botswana to align itself with Vision 2036
Pillar 2 – Human Social Development which focuses on moral, tolerant and inclusive society that provides opportunities for all. The execution of this Vision Pillar is looking into different sectors which include spiritual wellbeing, culture, strong family institution, health and wellness, social inclusion and equality, education and skills development, gender equality, the youth and the wellbeing of children.
